NOTES:

The TAC-TX bullet is a special purpose expanding all-copper bullet that is optimized around AR platforms
AR’s feature shorter carbine length barrels which reduce the muzzle velocity when compared to a standard barrel length
To achieve the same terminal performance that Barnes fans are used to, we added a larger tip to allow more fluid to enter the nose and modified the bullet cavity to maximize expansion at lower velocities
These bullets track straighter through barriers and have better weight retention than lead-core bullets
The .264″ 6.5mm 115gr TAC-TX BT was designed and optimized around the 6.5 Grendel and its velocity range
Barnes offers other .264″ 6.5mm TTSX & TSX bullets that may shoot well in a Grendel, but their internal cavities were designed for higher velocity cartridges and will not provide sufficient terminal performance in this cartridge or similar cartridges
The cannelure is correctly positioned so you can crimp into it
